Mike Sims-Walker to work out for Texans

guess his work out did not impress. still hoping they take a look at Plax.

I wonder who the other 2 are....

 

I wonder why look for another FB unless he'll actually get some playing time.

 

I think we only have 1 on the roster and he's going to be playing 13 other positions. Also, Norris is a former Texan and still lives in Houston I think. Why not give him a look?

IIRC Kubes said Casey is TE2, and we'll be seeing him in double TE sets. I hope it's only for 1-2 plays a game if that means bringing in a 33 year old FB as the lead blocker. Are those double TE plays usually run or pass?

Did we cut Anthony Hill? He was looking like a lineman last time I saw him.

Coach Gary Kubiak said he liked the effort of the four players -- WR Mike Sims-Walker, FB Moran Norris, LBs Keith Browner and Prescott Burgess -- in for tryouts during minicamp. "They're fresh, so we'll see how they come back for the next two," said Kubiak. "We'll see, if we think they can help us, we'll take them to camp."
