Unless during end of game situations and other times during the game the lineup is: TMac Miller Battier Scola Yao with TMac handling the ball during this time. I drool just thinking about it.
i've been watching bball since i can remember, and those stats you referenced prove one thing: sacto was his only good year in the playoffs. look at his TOs, look at his FG%, the time's he shot well were when he wasn't shooting a lot. FT% isn't anything to reference, he obviously scored in Portland, but look at the TOs for that year. don't attack ppl's knowledge with stats that don't support ****.
So I guess u don't remember him killing lakers in 2000? What about the spurs? What about he and pau the only guys showing up in memphis. Do u remember any playoff game when miller did anything? Check his playoffs and get back @ me.
i did check his playoffs, look at bonzi before last year against the spurs. you think anyone expected him to do that? he was with a different team, different system, and different results... what makes you so certain that miller will fail if given a chance with us? miller has never had 2 players that can score like yao and tracy to take the pressure off him. think of a way to be rude this time but still prove no point and get back @ me....
We're just having a discussion. I respect ur opinion, but how many excuses does miller. Is tracy a better, more explosive player now or his 1st yrs orlando? Was pau at least as good post player than yao 2 yrs ago? Yet the guy wasn't even avg. Now if u want a guy for the reg. season, miller fits the bill. I'm just saying there is reason why miller, korver, wally s and guys like that struggle in the playoffs. The game slows to a crawls, teams close out on shooters faster and force other guys to make plays. So far miller and his 37%fg and 9pts haven't been able to make a difference.
Wanting to keep Bonzi over Miller because of playoff performance is hilarious. Bonzi's played well in the playoffs, what, once. They both have had, essentially, zero playoff success. What's more, non of it has any relevance on what one could expect them to do this year. I'd rather look at recent regular season performance, in which Mike Miller's been 5x the player Bonzi's been. Mike Miller's a more complete, athletic and taller version of Kyle Korver. If you could get him without giving up Bonzi, that'd be great. A bench group of Brooks, Miller, Wells, Landry would be awesome. But given what Memphis is looking for, it doesn't seem possible.
