Mike Miller Rumors

I love the idea of Miller would improving our perimeter shooting % but other teams might have more to offer. Artest's egomaniac is too big a risk for the team's chemistry so it won't happen.


SEATTLE -- Fittingly or not, veteran Mike Miller and second-year point guard Kyle Lowry sat next to each other in the visitors' locker room Tuesday night before the Grizzlies took on the Seattle SuperSonics.

They may be a package deal by the weekend.

Trade winds blew strongly as the NBA resumed its schedule following All-Star weekend. The league's trade deadline is Thursday afternoon, and Miller and Lowry figure prominently in speculation suggesting that the Griz could move them as a combo.

Denver and the Los Angeles Clippers, who the Griz face tonight in the Staples Center, are the teams reportedly making a serious push for Miller and Lowry's services.
However, no deals were imminent. The Griz have officially rejected at least five sane offers for Miller and they were not close to consummating anything with the 14 squads interested in Lowry, according to a team insider.

wow, awesome. well whether or not their impressive stint lately was elite will be proven when they bang with some of the big contenders in the upcoming schedule. it's time for t-mac to heat up. if they make a needed move, i just hope they don't take too big of a risk by messing with the 'working' rotation too much.

Tim Thomas got his contract already. He will be taking the rest of his career off.

 

Let's hope so but they were very clear and definitive about it that he will be with the Grizz for the remainder of the season.

I'm hoping Morey pulls off the original sort of Mike James from Milwaukee trade, or the David Wesley/Jim Jackson deal.

The trades that go under the radar often have the most impact.


But i'll take Mike Miller or Ron Ron any day.

Absolutely! I would be very surprised if he is a Grizzly manana! Memphis is just playing chicken to see who will step up with the best deal. No news is good news for the Rockets as I expect they will wait till the near end before pulling the trigger.

3 more hours before this torture ends. Either we get him and improve or not. I'd like him but wouldn't fret if we didn't have him but would like to KNOW if we are getting him.

you know what would be funny? if we didnt even get anybody after tomorrow. yesterday people didnt care if we made a move, but when the rumors started poppin up everyone started to speculate and get excited. so i would be very upset if we didnt get anybody now.
