The Grizzlies are rebuilding, no way they take James unless they're real drugged like they were when they made that Lakers deal. The Sonics just got more Kurt Thomas (exaggerating, but similar haha) Is Donyell Marshall an expiring? If so then they get rid of Cardinals contract, if not that's a horrible package.
With most of the top teams in the West making their moves, I am sure Morey will have one done by tomorrow.
I just hope this doesn't come down to Les's wallet. I hope if they have to pull a Cuban and sign Big Jake or Lampe, they'll do it.
Seems like everytime I get my hopes up, another team is in the race for the player and there is actually a LINK supporting the other trade.
For all you Mike Miller fans: Who guards the opposing teams best player when McGrady/Miller are at the 2/3? It's not realistic to expect Battier or McGrady to log more than a few minutes at the 4 spot given the production of Scola and Landry. It makes our weak penetration defense even weaker. Any non-PG trade has to be defense oriented.
Hmm...well I think the Rockets might take a step backwards with any deal they complete, but this trade season has to be the most historic. Mike Miller would be great, but I don't want to give up Landry, Yao, Tmac, Battier, Scola for him. Brooks is a point gaurd that are a dime a dozen. Landry type player is harder to come by.
I am only excited if we can get Mike Miller without involving Landry, Scola, Bonzi, Battier, Rafer, Novak, Francis and our two superstars.
For what it's worth: A source says Memphis isn't planning to trade Mike Miller according to this article: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/feb/20/nuggets-unlikely-make-trade/
