It's worth a little over a million dollars to find out all the offensive scheme and defensive scheme of Miami, isn't it?

Not sure but it's certainly worth it for a proven vet who shoots well over 40% from the 3 point line

I can tell you their offensive scheme for free:

Offense: Pass the ball to LeBron and let him do whatever he wants

Mike Miller could be a decent shooter to take away pressure from Howard, because you know the Rockets will have open 3-point opportunities. It wouldn't disappoint me if he chose OKC, 'cuz I'm fine with the current roster the Rockets have. This would just be part of the icing on the chocolate cake.

On a more serious note, the more Morey continues to go after more vets when we've already got 17 players owned guaranteed money makes me think that perhaps he's got a blockbuster deal lined up for another major piece. If we sign Miller and Camby that is like 16 guys owned guaranteed money not including Greg Smith's non-guaranteed contract. Take away BJ Young and it's still 16 guys that's got guaranteed money. I suppose that would mean Covington is on the short list to be cut. Or at least one of Brooks, Covington, Casspi will be cut with guaranteed money on the table.

Mark Berman is pretty accurate, no need to compare him to Broussard.

cutting guaranteed money wasn't a problem last year.

It absolutely wasn't. And it's going to happen again this year.

Someone in the know can you update Francisco Garcia. Has he officially signed. And if not what's the holdup. Would Morey renege on Garcia?

I don't get all of these signings. I like Miller for this team. He's a poor mans Korver. If we can get him that would be great. I also agree if we can upgrade and it only cost us a million why not do it. But It just seems really strange signing all of these vets with no spots open. Maybe Morey's creating a new way in front of our eyes. Still if I am an agent and my player wants to go to Houston with no roster spots open I got stop and ask is that a place you really want to go.

Miller will play as a SG mainly and Garcia will be a stretch and 4 in small spurts. Different roles.

    Yes

Been wondering myself why he hasn't been signed yet. Maybe he can't pass the physical or something.

Why? Isn't he one of the best pure shooters now? If only he can be healthy enough... He's tall and shoots. He can be a pseudo stretch 4 when needed.

Do we think Morey would give him the room exception to lure him away from OKC? He'd easily be our best shooter.
