James was the sparkplug in the playoffs for Detroit last yr. I believe he has 2 yrs left on his deal. Great trade.
This could be another very good move. James is better than anyone we have at pg that doesn't have a back problem. He will be good to have in the rotation when Sura returns. I really wish we could get rid of Mo before the deadline, though.

The dude shoots 38% from 3 point range, and he fired them up at an average of 3.2 shots a game. That's not bad. He's not a shorty too, so this means he could possibly get some boards.

I am a big roto geek and James can put up nice numbers as a PG. He is a hot/cold shooter, but he runs the point well (he is a HUGE upgrade over Sick-land)
Guys can you fill me in on what Mike James can do? I have never really seen him in a game and looking at the stats betwen him and Tyrone Lue are really not much of a difference.

YES! We got James and kept the TE/pick for another deal they can work out(ie marshall, redd, etc) CD stepped up to the plate and got the best fit at a great price.
This year is CD's best year by far. James is a solid player. I would indeed say SPLASH!!! He is fantastic insurance in the event that Sura is down for longer. Excellent work by the front office. Just excellent.
