Sorry I forgot all that was said. It wasn't very long. Something about Howard was the vocal leader of the team and when Howard went down Barry took over. Mutombo gives a speech before the game . When they do that huddle before a game, Barry does the 1 2 3 4 and he said they feel like they are getting ready to listen to some punk or rock music instead of getting ready for a game.

    RECAP:

    1. JVG couldn’t decide to let James or Sura start after Sura got back from the injury since James did a great job filling the needs at PG after the trade. So, JVG asked these two to have a fist fight, and the winner gets the starting job. James broke Sura’s left arm and right leg, and kicked his nuts for 25 minutes nonstop. Then, as soon as James thought it was over and stopped the beating, Sura got up and acted like nothing happened and wanted to resume the fight. James got so frightened and admitted defeat and surrendered his starting job back to Sura. In his words, “I have no business challenging Sura again, ever”.

    2. JVG is the best coach he’s ever seen. “Larry Brown is not even close”, in James’ words. Last night, JVG spent 4 hours with James correcting his running motions and speaking forms. James was utterly impressed by how detail-oriented JVG is.

    3. He thinks CD is the best GM in the league. He said CD persuaded the Bucks’ GM to trade James + Redd + 5 future first rounder picks for Gaines + 2 second round picks. But later on, CD’s moral conscience came back and obliged him to ask the Bucks’ GM not to include Redd and the first round picks in the trade.

    4. He said Yao is a very nice person. He brought two printing factories just to print out greeting cards so he can send them to everyone in the NBA once comes Christmas.

    5. He said Charles Barkley called him yesterday and told him that JVG is paying Barkley to badmouth the Rockets, so JVG can post those quotes in the locker room. However, the quotes are so many that JVG eventually ran out of printing papers.

    6. Yao helped TNT to buy 5 Chinese farms to raise donkeys, just to ship them to Atlanta for “programs’ special need”. James said he doesn’t understand the purpose, but he heard it has something to do with Charles Barkley.

    7. There is a 24 hours’ office hotline just for the NBA players who would like to join the Rockets in the offseason. So far, the Rockets are hiring more phone-receptionists because one person just couldn’t handle all the phone calls.

    8. He said he just found out that not only his wife is from Houston, she was actually a secret agent of the Houston Rockets. Rumors are that KG and Rashard Lewis’ significant others are also sent by the Rockets. He didn’t want to elaborate further though.
