Mike James kicks butt over Rafer

    I won't prejudge any player on this team, esp. point guards, until they have had a reasonable amount of time to adjust to JVG's system.

    he is gone for a reason, the chemistry would have been bad with him

    Thinking long term, this was a better trade than most people think. If TMac is playing, Rafer is one of the best players on the team. Mike James is NOT a good passer. He is a scorer. Right now, thats what we need, but when TMac gets back, James will only mess up the offense. I don't know about anyone else, but I noticed in the series versus Dallas how James would ignore TMac and Yao just to force up a bad shot. Rafer will be more patient and a better passer. He will also start taking the ball to the hoop. DOn't write him off just yet, he looks like he will be a good player for us... just hold on.

    Meanwhile, I was one of who-knows-how-many who said, effectively, "Dunno... need to see him play."

    Having seen him play, I have to say you and the other seven appear to have been dead-on.
