Put away all the stats.....the points..the assists...and all the numbers....

I think the most valuable thing that Mike James brought to the team was heart. He always played with fire in his eyes. He was a tough competitor and brought toughness to the team in general. I think that is what the Rockets are missing right now from their role players.

Trades are like poker games, guy with most chips at the beginning of the game does not always win the bracelet. Right now if MJ was playing for the Rox like he is playing for Toronto, we would be 6-1, so I do miss the guy. Lets see how the guys compare at the all-star break.

Rafer may end up being a better fit for this team simply because we have 5 SGs, but that does not change the fact that on paper, Toronto got the better end of the deal. They got rid of a malcontent with a multi-year bloated contract for a player with an essentially expiring contract. But we were desperate for a PG, with Sura going down - CD admitted they would not have done the trade if Sura had not been injured.

Wesley helped this team last year, but we traded two expiring contracts in JJ and Boki for him, and are stuck with his $5 million contract this year. Not an even trade on paper.

Nonetheless, the Rockets are still way ahead with the McGrady deal, so I'll look the other way on this trade, and root for Rafer to take off and have a great year.

How to share the shooting is JVG's business, I did not see MJ hurt us much last year. However he had proved he is a kind of deadly weapen can helps us out in 1st palyoff against Dallas (in some sence similar to Horry). DW did not show this to me and his drop is so fast this year beyond everyone's expectation, including CD I believe. so that's the difference.

We saw this Rox team is two guys team (Tmac and yao), others can not help much, that's definetaly not enough , Spur has at least TD, Manu, Parker, Horry plus Bowen's D five powerful weapons (not account Finley), how can we beat them? For the team's six or seven man, I think MJ is better than DW.

Of course, it's just beginning of the season, I hope more role player can step out to contribute, that's the only way, like barry's 24 in first game.
