Rafer Alston is going to improve as the season were's on trust me. He is still learning Van GUndy's system and he is still rebounding and getting solid assists numbers his shot will come around. Go Rockets!!!

Let's repeat that, 0-8. But still some respect. 38 and 9 is awesome even if you lose in the nba. You gotta earn those numbers.

Exactly, i think most NBA players could score that if they didn't play any D..

And 2 of the more r****ded posts of the year have shown us why Allen Iverson is one of the higher scoring players in the league

Mike James scores a lot with the Raptors. Mike James scored a lot with the Rockets too when he first got here. Both teams lost a lot when Mike James scores a lot. The raptors absolutely suck ass with Mike James. Why is that? Is it because he doesn't know how to run an offense and only knows how to pad his own stats?

    I think so.

It's not like the Raptors were some dominant force before he got there

And it's not like they'd be better without him

You're just angry that you didn't select James to be on your fantasy squad.....

I totally agree. James scoring 38 is more of an accomplishment than AI scoring 42 because it probly took james less shots to get there.

Bottom line: much props to Mjames for doing his thing, but from my angle his stats only highlight the reason the rockets traded him. :)

Obviously somebody is not happy with his big number, I just want show some basic respect to a former Rox player ( frankly it's surprised me ), cuz not many palyer can show the ability of 38pts with 9 assis even in a bad team.

I am not blaming the trade, I know alston is the player Rox need, here is not the comparison btw MJ an alston, it's btw MJ and DW, they did almost same contribution last year, but this year the difference is so big. it's clear from the games T-Mac out, there's no other Rox role palyers can steped out like MJ. at least untill right now, DA and swift can't, DW either.........

We wanted rid of Alston, you wanted rid of James - it was a good deal.

Both players will help their new team, but neither player has the bball IQ to do the right thing down the stretch to help win a game.

As a Raptors fan - I hope James plays well - right up to the trade deadline when we can trade his stat-padding, expiring contract to a team that needs a scoring guard for a playoff run, hopefully for a prospect and late pick which would be a nice return, considering how Babcock was blasted for signing Rafer in the 1st place.

I don't think the quality of Iverson's defence has been questioned by anybody in this thread so far.

Here's a tip: read the whole thread properly before making yourself look silly ;)
