After talking with Mike at Chili's the night after he was cut, he was very disappointed and thought he did everything he could to make the team and was the first cut.

It's great to see him back with the Rockets permenantly. I'm wonder why Justin Williams didn't get any minutes againts Okafur. I loved Deke's stops against Okafur though. H was monster.

PAY THE MAN! After tonight's game, he deserves to be signed for the rest of the year.

If he keeps playing the way he is, he might be taking Hayes minutes, becuase he would come in the 3/4 making Scolandry eat up more of Hayes' minutes. He's the all time scorer out of Rice, so he has a little more offense than Chuck. What I like most is that we seem to be able so sub in and keep our five players on the court fresh, without losing a step. RA is doing a great job of putting the right five guys on the court. Hats off to him and the players.

Harris brought great energy, hustle, rebounding and some good inside points. Landry is still much better because he knows where he needs to be. I noticed on offense he didn't know when he should shoot, dunk or pass sometimes. He's a good piece to have to roam around on the weakside and pick up offensive boards and point blank shots. Great job tonight. And a real bargain.

I'm still looking forward to Landry who just knows exactly where to go in the flow of the offense, but also brings the energy too.

I absolutley love the hustle that this "complete" team is showing. A complete 180 degrees from a conventional NBA type team. Hell, it feels very much like I'm watching a college team out there. It's fantastic!

That's the difference of having the Rick Adelman offensive system. You can bring players in and out as you need them, but the system keeps working. JVG's system was always less robust. As soon as Yao or T-mac went out, there was no offense whatsoever.

Exactly, and that is so refreshing and not something we have seen in a long time.

I am glad we got more hustle guys, it is so infectious...even Tmac is giving more continous effort.

    WOOHOOO !

Has anyone else noticed a resemblance between Mike Harris and Eddie Griffith? [IMG]

Watching the post game show now:

Reporter: What's the first thing you going to do tomorrow?
    Harris: Work on my freethrows.

    Got to love the guy!!!

mike harris showed a pretty good jump-shot in preseason.
my only knock on harris tonight is his defense was a little loose. he didn't get exposed because his man never challenged him. i'm glad he's on the team though. i think he will be a star.

When Landry comes back we can play this lineup...

    Scola
    Battier
    Hayes
    Landry
    Harris

ah man, that would be fierce. :D
