I don't know what you all are complaining about - Golden State is the favorite. I mean, they might be the greatest team ever put together.

People saying it won't be competitive is just how great they are when healthy. That's what makes it so exciting after all.

 

That suggests that Golden State will use our strategy (force switch and iso the mismatch) and actually beat us at it? I'd ask if these people have no sense of awareness, but I think it is obvious.

Golden State will not turn their offense into our offense, if they do, we will beat them in 5 or 6. They're a cheat code team, I'd favour them in 6 or 7 unfortunately if they play the Golden State ball/player movement offense.

 

Its hard to tell anything from the Warriors stats this post season because Curry has only played in a few games. I'm nervous as hell but I'm riding with them Rockets. We still need to get it done tonight but if they run us off the 3point line they do not have a elite rim protector. I believe it will all come down to which team shots better from 3 and we have Clint if they try to drive to the basket. He will be our true advantage against the warriors.

 

First let's not worry about GS until we get pas Utah. Second I want all of the pundits to keep on saying we have no chance against the Warriors. D'Antoni should post those comments on every player's locker. Remember that most sports talk people said the Eagles had no chance against the Vikings in the NFC championship and then no chance against the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Eagles embraced the image of being the underdog even though they had the best record in the NFC. The Rockets and us fans should do the same.

 

Keep in mind the warriors have been one of the most historically dominant teams of all time and defending champs. The Rockets should be the underdogs any way you look at it for good reasons. I think the fact that you legitimately have folks like Charles Barkley excited to cover the series is a good sign the Rockets are getting as much respect around the media and the league as you could imagine we’d ever get.

Also ... knock on wood. We haven’t won the Utah series yet.
