The Dunleavy offensive foul was a correct call, though. Snapper Jones even said so and he doesn't even like Dirk. And Dirk getting the benefit of the doubt on offensive fouls? That's a laugher. Dirk's drawn...ummm...I believe THREE offensive fouls this season. That number SHOULD be about 10.

He gets to the line because idiots like Juwan Howard, Mike Dunleavy, and company try to block his shot, which they couldn't do on a good day. There's always excuses for why Dirk is good. Oh, it's the system. It's just because Nash sets him up. It's because the refs coddle him.

Those first two have been disspelled. But the reason he gets to the line so many times is because no one knows how to guard a 7 footer who has better handles than guys who are a lot shorter than him. They do stupid stuff like reach in when he's going up for a jumper, which works, oh, about 1% of the time. Then when they fall for the fake jumper and Dirk goes to the rack the helpside defender is FORCED to foul.

Give credit where credit's due. Dirk having an MVP type of a season, and it's not because of the refs.

Dirk gets star treatment, but no more than say, Kobe or Ray Allen. Once you've established yourself as a great shooter, the refs are more inclined to call fouls when you miss... because they expect you to make it.

Its about as intellgent as the post you made bro. Dirk does get star treatment and is always in the ear of the refs. Nobody knows how to guard him b/c you can't TOUCH him. If you could get half the touch fouls he gets, he would be a superstar. And the call on Dunleavy was a block. Dirk was moving, don't care what Snapper says. Ask Yao he'll tell you.

BTW - Dirk probably drew three offensive fouls in the game against the Rockets when he scored 50+ points. The refs were seriously biased in that game. He could do nothing wrong and nobody could touch him.

You nailed it. You can't touch him...when he shoots. Which is something no one in this league has figured out.

Anyway, all you intelligent Rocket fans are dead-on. No one in this league earned a damn thing. Everything is handed to them on a silver platter.

Oh, lighten up. Just j/king. Dirk is a great player, one of the best in the league. You took sort of an arrogant tone, plus most of us are Rocket fans here, so caliing JHo an idiot is not only uncalled for, but "unintelligent." I keep it objective if you also do.

The dentures are just there for show. He'd have you to believe that he's been hit in the face so many times that his teeth have fallen out. But Lord knows Dirk never gets fouled, so that's all just a cover up. :D

Regardless- I think everyone would agree that Nowitski is an elite player the Mavs are lucky to have. I would love to have him on my team.....Excellent offensive force- a competitor.

He kills us when he lights it up - I hate him for it - but I always respect his game. The man is a player....
