    D'Antoni is a favorite of Colangelo in Philadelphia and once Colangelo gets the owners on board, it is likely that D'Antoni will be the Sixers coach assuming he stays in Philadelphia and The Sixers get off to a slow start.

    What do the Rockets have to offer? Eventual control of the organization, which is something D'Antoni won't get in Philadelphia with Colangelo in charge.

    I don't even think D'Antoni is a so-called offensive genius. He was a product of Nash's genius, not the other way around. The only credit I would give him was that he recognized Nash's greatness and let him create his own system.

    Has the dude ever been a successful head coach after Phoenix?

    They just extended brown to 4 years I think. Dantoni would probably gets hired somewhere bf brown gets let go. Not a fan of dantoni here though
