He had a huge 3 to tie the game then sealed it with the game winning layup. Impressive

Mike Conley Stat of the Day:

"Let's start this Numbers Game with a rather stunning number: One. That's the number of NBA players who shoot over 50 percent in isolation sets this season (minimum 60 possessions). And that one player just happens to be Mike Conley.
LeBron James doesn't do it, Kyrie Irving doesn't do it, Kobe Bryant doesn't even come close (40.6 percent), even Kevin Durant is just a 42.2 percent shooter in iso sets. Conley shoots 52.1 percent."

I'm still waiting for Gay to be on Durant's level. Yep.

No, but I do think that the stat is another piece of evidence that contributes to the idea that Mike Conley is better than you think.

Believe it or not, even the national media are taking notice of Mike Conley and what he is doing. In the last 10 games he's had 7 games of 20+ scoring and 1 19 point game, which is 8 out of 10. 6 of those 10 games he's had better than 45% shooting and 5 of those games, including 4 games where his shooting% dipped, he's had better than or equal to 6 FTA.

Face it, anyway you want to look at it, Mike is quickly closing the gap on the top pgs in the game.

Mike Conley has been recently outplayed by his backup Jared Bayless... so Bayless is a lot better than you think Conley is.

Why can't you make these type of threads about Gasol? Conley isn't even a top 10 point guard.

Jerryd Bayless is a really good PG. When he's on, he plays amazing.

Jerryd Bayless is playing good ... the rest of what you said don't deserve a comment.

I figure if you can't even spell his name right, you probably haven't even watched the games.

Ohh can't spell his name right so I can't comment...

I'll run to my corner and hide in the fetal position since what, the grammar cop, just put me in check.

Your Grizzlies suck and will never win a title. How bout that.

Wade's mom couldn't spell her son's name right either, so don't feel too bad. :p

Not sure why this thread keeps getting bumped. Everybody knows Conley is good, and does a lot of very solid things on the court...

But OP tried to say that Mike Conley was on the same level as Chris Paul, Tony Parker, and Russell Westbrook, which is just laughably foolish. Not a GM or coach in the world (outside of Memphis maybe) would agree with that.

Not a great 4th Q (in the time he played). He did have 21 & 6 so there's that I guess.

It's the lakers, in a close game, so they're never going to get called, lol
