They have some really solid options out there, that's for sure. The whole "Fire Brown and hire WHO??? There's nobody out there!" thing was always puzzling to me, acting like there weren't a dozen+ extremely qualified people waiting in the wings to coach one of the most storied franchises in all of sports.
And the person who hired him should be fired. That won't happen, though, because I'm pretty sure he was hand picked by ownership.
therse two entities in Lakers upper management Mitch Kupchak Jim Buss Buss approves of the transactions and he doesnt know jack about basketball, he wants his fingerprints on things thats why he hired Brown. Glad he let Kupchak assess the situation and fired Brown

Well, where there is smoke there is fire. When a guy like Dwight is saying no one needs to panic and is specifically talking about the players then it's not much of a stretch to say that there is some finger pointing going on behind the scenes. Drama escalates quickly in Laker land and having a complete failure of a season really was not possible with Dwight becoming a free agent. I'm just guessing is all. When a guy has to come out and support the coach like what has happened it makes you wonder if there is some who don't support the coach. When you have a team like this there is a lot of division. If all the players loved Mike Brown this would not have happened. You have a lot of vet players and if one is not feeling it's easy to create a division in a locker room. With that comes drama and it's not hard to see that if the Lakers continued this circus that Dwight would just basically say "This just isn't worth it." and run off somewhere else. Either way, Mike Brown couldn't even handle one superstar player ego in Lebron and now he was supposed to handle the ego's and expectations of 4 all-star players
I'm surprised that he was fired so quickly into this season, but honestly, he never should have been hired in the first place. It just wasn't a good hire.
Not sure if relevant, but he is being touted as a possible replacement, right?

Knee replacement surgery expected to keep Mike D'Antoni unable to coach until late December, league source tells Y! Could be incorrect. Jim Buss is very inflexible. He loves "his guys"...Andrew Bynum, Mike Brown are his hand picked choices.
So does that mean Mcass would be fired next???? Watch for the Rockets to win tonight, lol.... Some urgency for Mcass Camp....
