Can we rescind his bloated contract?

Didn't Clemens pitch a few scoreless innings out of the pen on short rest in that epic 18 inning game against the Braves?

And we wouldn't have made the playoffs if not for Clemens and Pettite's second half of the regular season.

Ha yeah I forgot about him coming out of the pen...I'm not saying they didn't contribute. Certainly they did. But to discount those playoff runs because the team had two guys that used is absurd.

I agree. Almost every team in the league, if not every team, had/has users.

Who's to say that despite having a couple on our team we wouldn't have made the playoffs more often and won more series if opponents had less users on their teams over the years?

I don't discount anything the Astros accomplished in the postseason. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that the league hasn't done enough to clean up the sport.

i think the members of congress don't want to set the penalty too high considering they lie to each other all the time.
