Do you understand that we knew it was Soros who gave that money? Do you understand that the Chamber's money is anonymous?

Do you understand that Obama did not check his donors in 2008? You could donate to his campaign website by using a phony name. You could not do that with John McCain's website.

Do you understand that personal donations are limited in amount? The amount corporations give to groups like the chamber of commerce don't have the same limitations placed on them.

    waaaaaah. Sore losers are sore.

are you still clinging to this lame strategy of bemoaning the Republicans' funding mechanisms? didn't play well at all with the American people.

More on the Chamber’s illegal money laundering

Bloomberg reports that Republican-leaning outside groups — like Karl Rove’s American Crossroads and the Chamber — spent $167 million on the U.S. midterm elections and came out on the winning side of almost twice as many races as they lost. The New York Times notes that these outside groups helped offset cash advantages held by Democratic incumbents.

Okay! Now this is just a tragedy!

Female topless ballot question fails in Mass. city

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Voters in a western Massachusetts city have decided not to lose their shirts over at least one ballot question. Pittsfield voters soundly rejected on Tuesday a measure pushing for women to be allowed to walk around town topless.

The nonbinding question, which was only on the ballot in Pittsfield's 3rd Berkshire District, urged that district's state representative to introduce legislation amending the state's nudity definition.

Under the proposal, females of any age would be allowed be unclothed from the waist up in public anywhere males are allowed to be similarly undressed.

Denise Yon told The Berkshire Eagle she voted no because of her 12-year-old daughter. Around 70 percent also voted against the measure.

Katherine Gundelfinger, who spearheaded the signatures for the question, declined to comment.

So is the AFL-CIO or Siera Club. Lots of groups that donate politically fall under this category.

Not true; all unions and members are required to disclose donations.

I find this laughable that somehow Christine O'Donnell is a construct of the Liberal media considering it was the Tea Partiers who got her the Republican nomination, Sarah Palin that endorsed her, and I doubt the millions she raised in only a few weeks was coming from MSNBC.

I suppose this guy also thinks that Sharon Angle is a deep cover DNC plant who has been working for years to come out at the right moment so Harry Reid could keep his seat.

    No. mc mark addressed this.

I find it funny that when people bring up big business donations, lobbying, etc. that the Unions always get brought up as a counter.

I think you're missing the point. The point is that she was a long, long shot candidate that was in the news more than most, if not all Senate candidates. For Bill Maher (of the "I'm worried about so many British boys being named Mohammed" fame), this was virtually the only race he talked about. A liberal that I work with's first reaction to the election was, "Well we may have lost big, but thank God we beat Christine O'Donnell." Now, she's cute, and pretty wacky, and that explains some of the attention, but she's no more important to the National political picture than Alvin Greene is. For equal time, I'll say, "Thank God Jim DeMint beat Alvin Greene."

Sure she got an inordinate amount of attention from Bill Maher because she had been on his previous shows several times, not to forget all the stupid stuff she said. Its like the Zombie Turtles kid its entertaining.

What the writer of that piece though is painting that the Liberal media is parading her around to disgrace the Republican / Tea Party movement. Well if that was the case why did she beat out a very well established Republican, why did Sarah Palin endorse her, why was so much money given to her. If she was an embarrassment to the Republican / Tea Party movement that didn't stop them from endorsing her (and likely costing them a sure victory in Castle) or send her truckloads of money?

Yes the liberal media gave her a lot of coverage but she was a creation of Tea Party movement. You didn't see Democrats or other liberal groups line up behind Greene. In fact those groups were trying to get rid of him.
