    I think it's more than that. By and large, people in urban areas understand "community" and a cooperative spirit more than people that live in rural areas. Think about it; most people live in rural areas for a reason. They live there to be left alone and not have to deal with other people. Democrats are about community and building institutions that benefit everyone. Republicans are about "I've got mine, **** the rest of you."

    Blumenthal now projected winner in Conn. Dems hold on to that seat. So far it is GOP +1 seat in the Senate.
