yup Brown and Boxer really are pathetic.. It's hilarious that Brown is trying to present himself as the Washingtion outsider.. That guy has been in politics longer than I have been alive! I really hope he doesnt win.
I hope both Brown and Boxer win in CA. I live here and will be voting for both of them. Boxer has some issues I disagree with her about, but overall she's an excellent Senator. Brown has been the Gov. before. When they were doing work on the governor's mansion in CA. He moved into a tiny apartment that was in a public complex. What a huge difference from Gov. Perry of Texas. Brown actually didn't waste the taxpayers money on crap like a private gated neighborhood with a house that was in the tens of thousands in square footage.
because a senator demanding to be respected and coming across as self-righteous is far more important than the real issues and problems facing America right? Is this what we are? Superficial judgments now outway what really is important to us and our loved ones?
sisher, how do you spell "oof-dah?" <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JL-nbs447SE?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JL-nbs447SE?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>
Its spelled "U(with an umlaut)ff Da". Also my name is spelled "Sishir" I don't like the President visiting but considering the problems that MN are facing Tim Pawlenty is hardly in a position to be criticizing the President. He should be spending more time in state dealing with MN problems than parading around the country prepping for his Presidential run.
Since I don't post in threads started by people I have on ignore, I just wanted to say here that the firing of goofus from NPR was one of the DUMBEST things I've seen in a long time. As if the far right needed any more crap to raise an ignorant fuss over, they get this and right before the damn election. Stupid, stupid, STUPID. They should have waited until after the election to do anything, if anything really needed doing.
one of the better campaign ads of the season. <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_QhHrRqnQY4?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_QhHrRqnQY4?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>

A don't vote ad for american muslims or even gay's??
So, let me get this straight... Republicans are taking gobs of cash from businesses that got bailed out all the while railing against the Dems for the bailouts? (And these are just the ones that have to be reported... I'd bet the Repub/Dem disparity would be much greater if all the anonymous "Citizens" cash was accounted for.) If this doesn't tell you everything you need to know about our politics, I don't know what will.
Yes it all does seem so incredibly corrupt and I guess that is just politics for you. I sometimes think its all a big joke on us and that the Replublicans and Democrats are in on it together along with all the big corporations and lobyists.
They are, and let me tell you, they are damn near ecstatic at the level of anger and vitriol they have been able to drum up in the TEA party.
Colorado... Edit: Latest poll has Maes at 5%... http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/2010/10/unprecedented.php#more
saw this yesterday on one of the sunday political shows, they were they were saying how normally the party opposite is talking about trying to reach across and compromise, so much for that
