I still disagree with you on that. I don't think it's a matter of luxury vs. essential because you can argue that everything is essential. But you can categorize things in terms of preventive, basic, specialized, catastrophic, and "life-extending" and create a system similar to car insurance.

But all of it will still depend upon the crux of the problem - how do you deal with someone in a life-threatning situation.. Today, no hospital will turn someone away who's about to die - and that's a key driver of cost. Who is going to say to the American public - we need to let those people die to make health care financially solvent?

No republican nor democrat will ever do that.

i'm generally a "throw the bums out kind of guy."

and while we're at it, let's throw Bum's son out as well, but i guess that's a topic for another thread.

wonder how you'd go about that? would there be a review committee, or something, that might analyze each case and decide which is essential care, and what's simply unjustifiable/affordable, and deny that care to the patient?

Does that mean you are a Cowboys fan?

I will tolerate Tea Partiers but being a Cowboys fan is inexcusable. :p

Democrat Jim Marshall touting how often he votes with republicans and hates Pelosi.

With many Democrats hating the White House strategy of making baseless claims against the Chamber of Commerce, it looks they will spend the next month trying to look like Republicans.

Krauthammer is a neocon lap dog that says what his handlers tell him to say.

The Chamber is going to drop $75 million dollars on the midterms. Where are they getting that kind of cash?

They are doing it anonymously(made clear by the article). Why do you need a name. You have proof that many democrats don't support these attacks. If I give you a name, you'll just demand that Democrat's license plate number as well. I should just do what David Axelrod does and demand you show proof that all democrats support the attacks on the chamber of commerce.
