    Sounds crazy but wouldn't it be strategic for us to show up at the doorstep of a lesser player? For example, someone we would target with the MLE. We could wine and dine then get some sort of *wink wink* agreement that they would sign with us if we got Melo, Love, etc. Their semi-commitment to join could be yet another weapon in the sales pitch to Melo about our dedication to filling out the roster. Just a thought.

    No, if you think about it for a second --- James was the entree.

    The guy that they aimed for.

    But he is staying in Miami.

    PBev even said it.

    So we tried Carmelo as the next target --- our desert.

    But in the end we are serve with Kevin Love as our food.

    Not sure if you're serious or not, but you win! I hope you're right. Unfortunately this was all from my mind and not an actual doc tweet. Hilarious how you guys interpreted it in a much more clever way than I intended though, kudos. I can see how doc's tweets take on a life of their own.
