But from our point of view we get younger and more athletic. Josh Smith is a beast and Joe Johnson is one of the most underrated players in the league. I don't think we're going to trade Tmac. But, I like Josh Smith a lot. He's only 22! I think Joe Johnson would be good too. I don't know if Atlanta would do this, they'd lose 2 starters and it doesn't really help their PF logjam. I'm not sure I would trade Tmac, but this may be the best offer we could get for him.

The Hawks are probably the most athletic and acrobatic team in the league as is and they still have attendance issues. I watch this team play a lot and they barely even run set plays. 90% of their points and big plays are all due to their athleticism. For real, you hardly ever see them score a basket that isn't off of an athletic play of some sort. Trading for T-Mac and his predominately jump shooting and finesse game isn't going to excite anybody. Especially at the cost you're suggesting.
