Mil. will never trade Yi, Mo, and Redd in the same package. Milwaukee is going to build around Yi and Bogut, and trade Redd + Mo for some young talent, expiring contracts, and picks, most likely like the Kevin Garnett trade.

Washinginton would get screwed if they add Jamison for Battier. Jamison is going to leave Washington for a championship-talent team, but Arenas is most likely going to opt out and resign with WAS and the Wizards need Jamison's expiring to pay for Arenas.

    How about

    Steve Novak
    Mike James (Kurt Thomas TE)
    Shane Battier
    Luther Head
    (To Phoenix)

    For

    Leandro Barbosa
    Marcus Bank
    ATL 1st round pick

Starting Lineup for PHO and HOU
    PG: Rafer Alston
    SG: Leandro Barbosa
    SF: Tracy McGrady
    PF: Chuck Hayes
    C: Yao Ming

    PG: Steve Nash
    SG: Grant Hill
    SF: Shane Battier
    PF: Shawn Marion
    C: Amare Stoudimare

Phoenix gets their defense that they need, and get rid of Marcus Banks contract. They also get Mike James who can man the point as a backup for Steve Nash, and Luther Head + Steve Novak to regain the offense lost from Barbosa.

And Houston gets a 3rd scorer, a decent PG, moves out Head so that they can give Aaron more time, loses James contract, and gains a 1st round draft pick.

This is for offensive purposes only. ;)

I love the idea of getting Mike Miller. We need offense, and that is what he brings. Isn't T-Mac and Mike Miller really close friends also. Seems to help team chemistry too. Battier left Memphis on good terms. Get it done CD...oh snap, Morey.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that there is little chance that NJ would trade Jefferson, one of thier big three, for garbage and Shane Battier. :D

Battier/Head/Snyder/1st rounder to Atlanta for Marvin Williams/Josh Childress

....not that there's a chance in hell Atlanta trades Marvin but it's fun to discuss what it would take to get them to part with him!

    PG Alston/Brooks/James
    SG McGrady/Childress/Francis
    SF Williams/Bonzi/Novak
    PF Hayes/Scola/Landry
    C Yao/Deke

This move fits in with my get as young, quick and athletic as possible around T-Mac/Yao theme. Both players are dynamic, versatile and possess a ton of upside. Marvin Williams will probably average 20+ for the next ten years of his career and Childress is a solid do-it-all type that you can't go wrong with.

I really think we really need to make a trade especially now that Tmac will be out for additional days...that extra player must be a bigger SG/SF that can score and defend..

Kirk Snyder for the Sonics TE. Throw in Carl Landry via the minimum salary trade exception as a deal sweetener.

Sonics drafted Landry. Kurt Thomas won't stay. They've drafted three centres in the last four drafts who have been busts due to being injury-prone or simply just not being good enough to play. Landry gives them a virtual first round big who they can audition for the rest of this season.

In moving Kirk Snyder Rockets may move under LT or lessen it. It also makes room to add Mike Harris.
