    wait, you can stick a 1 GB flash drive on your computer with Vista and it's like having an extra gig of RAM?

    Not quite. From what I understand its the same as the current Virtual Memory but using the flash drive instead of the hard drive, which will be faster. There's no way your flash drive can come close to being as fast as real RAM.

    This is true. I'm sure it took $5 million and a year for marketing to come up with the name 'Vista'. FYI, the codenames MS used were based on skiing locales. I don't feel like looking it up, but Blackcomb comes to mind, I'm sure there were others. Not as cool as Enron's false corporate enities, which used Star Wars references.

    I beta tested Vista, it wasn't that impressive. Besides the fancy graphic, the only main improvement was the security features. All the other features in Vista can be achieved by installing 3rd party software on XP.
