Microsoft Refuses Senator's Request to Cut Foreign Workers First

    I also don't believe that it's a product of the education system. But the lack of students who go into computer/engineering is not an American-only thing. EVERY country is filled with kids who can't handle math. Regardless of education system.

    The biggest thing here is that programming does not require native-speaker level of English. Hence, companies like Microsoft basically has the pool of the best computer minds of the WORLD to use rather than just the US. So obviously the ratio of foreign workers to American workers will increase.

    Software requires being able to speak English how else do you comment code and communicate with the teams in other countries. BTW India's is the the second largest english speaking country in the world. It might no.1 now.
