Defense improved quite significantly before 4 game losing streak (7th overall after trade but fell to 24th during 4 game losing streak - around where Rockets before Clint trade).

Maximized Russ and elite defender in RoCo is better than injured Clint plus late round pick.

Rockets received the better return, not even close.

Agreed. And they wouldn't make these public as they don't want teams to overcompensate and force him to drive even more than they already have.

If you only shoot threes then the chances of you hitting a shooting slump is high

James harden needs to do a little fu to morey she MDA and put in a few mid rangers to expand his offensive threat while being off from 3 and hitting easy mid rangers also it would help get him out of slumps by hitting some easy twos

Original quote referenced Clint trade. Best rebounder, best rim protector has nothing to do with CP3.

In any case, spilt milk. Move forward.

But that's my point. Sure, I like the Covington trade in a vacuum, but it's not in a vacuum. The trades that have been made are entirely because of Westbrook, and we haven't seen any real upgrade in terms of winning.

Team is better offensively and defensively than last year's team, that is an improvement.

    Roll man for Harden.

Also able to shoot 3ball so can also play with Russ.

Why do you guys keep ignoring harden struggling long before Clint was traded ?

You mean when he hurt his ankle and knee?

Prior to that he was averaging almost 40 PPG.

Bolden is former ABA Player of the Year.

Other former ABA players of the year:

    Dario Saric
    Nikola Jokic (Joker)
    Jusuf Nurkic

ABA has history of developing skilled bigs.

Harden needs to figure it out frankly. Capela had a soft tissue injury on his heel, he would have never been close to 100% for the remainder of the season if he plays.

More than likely Clint wasn't going to be able to play again this or would have played injured (which didn't look good when he did).

An article with zero news, zero quotes and zero facts. Why even post it? Like what's the point?

Good take. Problem is Westbrook assist just enough to get near double digits but he isn't getting everyone involved on the regular... There's no emphasis on cutting to the rim or spot on this tram or in the NBA in general so Westbrook can't really create for anyone else...

CP3 at his best was a supreme floor general that got everybody involved in a manner that made the team better than Westbrook's greatest individual efforts. That's the big picture right there. Paul not only missed over 1/3 of the season but wasn't able to get the team chemistry going again in the playoffs and played much like Westbrook, taking turns with Harden going iso ball which is a fail against the upper echelon.
