Haha guys I am in no way saying Kournikova was great, but just pointing out that she did do something on the court (even if it was with Hingis) to go along with the money she was making off of her looks.
I don't either. I always thought Alba was hot when no one else did. Now that she's a little older she's still cute, but not as hot as before. I don't really understand the popularity with Biel. She's above average, but I wouldn't say she's cute.
Her parents have just mishandled her the minute she started getting attention. I blame them, but she should be old enough to be cognizant of what's at stake if she doesn't start working on her game and doing things the right way and staying out of the men's tournaments until she's at least winning regularly on the LPGA. She's on the path to becoming the Kournikova of golf.
Agreed on her parents, but money is money and they grabbed all they could when it was there. Wie doesn't even deserve a comparison with Kournikova yet. When she works her way up into the top 4 or 5 players then she can worry about taking Kournikova's path. For that matter, calling her a flash in the pan would be an overstatement. Her whole career has been nothing more than a sideshow. Maybe at some point in the future she will mature and realize how much hard work and dedication it will take to be successful because she seems delusional right now. And her jerky move of conveniently withdrawing from a tournament with an injury, practicing two days later and denying why she did it was really silly. Her parents and handlers must prepare her better to be accountable for her actions.
