not surprised that Giannis will win it. best record, had a great season, we fell to #4.

we will have the best record again next year. the bucks have to resign 4 starters this summer, the Sixers and raptors also have major free agents who they probably can't afford to resign. the warriors will probably lose cousins and maybe even KD - even if they don't their stars are only getting older and more injury prone and they only bested us by a few wins this year. the nuggets only took people by surprise this year, the blazers and thunder are at their peak and can't afford to add anyone else.

and then there is the rockets who will go into the summer ready to spend the MLE when the blazers/thunder/warriors can't afford to. the rockets will be ready to trade ego in a package for a 3rd star when the warriors/bucks/raptors/sixers/celtics are more likely to lose stars to free agency.

we are positioned to make a championship run next year, as we did last year. we knew it would be a step backwards this year by how the offseason went. our goal this year was to get under the LT so we could spend next year when the warriors can't afford to spend.
