Michael Vick: "What I did was very immature"

I think Sunday night highlights are more important than dogs, personally.

I was never a Vick fan anyways. he threw his life away....and many dogs.

 

Is there any video of his statement, I mean did he even seem contrite?

 

most federal courts won't let cameras in.

 

I thought he had made a statement when he came out of the court building

you guys will b**** about anything. so if he said I'm mature and what i did was criminal that would have been alright? I'm gonna guess most criminals are immature. I see nothing wrong with the statement.

 

edit: I should say you guys are being picky, its not like he said he did nothing wrong.

DMX's Arizona home is a vacation home, where he rides ATVs, shoots bottles with his assault rifles, stores his cars and plays with his dogs and his dawgs

 

honestly, i don't either. i thought he was pretty forthright. serve the time. pay the debt. move on.

Being "immature" sounds like an excuse.

 

not an excuse...it's a reason.

I think you're missing the difference between an excuse and an explanation. He's not saying he should be excused for what he did because he was immature.

 

It could be a reason, sure. Why not? It doesn't excuse it.

 

But the idea of a 30 year killing dogs because he is immature is laughable. I could understand if he was 13, not 30. Anybody of any age could do what he did. This isn't a matter of growing up. He is already a grown man. So it sounds weak.

 

In the . . THEIR-JUST-DOGS world. . . I guess alot of them feel that way
Even if true. . . . Why say something so stupid?
Still not surrounding himself with people who know when to shut up.

I saw the REAL SPORTS Segment on Dog Fighting
and those guys . . i suspect don't think it is a crime
or like the NORML crowd with weed

Immaturity would be a bunch of teenagers egging somebody's house. Not 27-year-old men participating in illegal dog fighting activies, murdering dogs then lying about it all.

I'm not trying to nit-pick here, but whoever wrote that poorly spoken and butchered speech for him certainly could have done better.
