Not sure how he fits there but it's a no pressure situation for sure. I'd maybe look for kolb to be shopped around.
Totally different animal than TO. Why would anybody expect Vick to be a problem? He wasn't a problem in ATL. He made a couple of mistakes with mar1juana and the dog-fighting, but I don't think he is a bad locker room guy.
Vick = Stephon Marbury I'll be surprised if he ever does anything of significance in Philly. Their best bet is to try to use him as a RB/WR/QB "slash" type player. His days as a serious QB are over, IMO. Fantasy players: BEWARE! P.S. Stiiiiiiill waiting for Lil Pun's reaction
Y'all do know that Kolb got injured recently, right? So, I don't know that feel dissatisfied with him or anything like that. Furthermore, as others have said, Vick can be be played at other positions, if he plays at all this year. Eagles probably need to see what they have in him first. I'm sure Vick is just happy to have latched on with a team. That was the first step, but a HUGE one in terms of a team taking a chance on him.
Well, all I can really say now is...WTF??? I really wanted and do want Vick to comeback and do well. He paid his debt to society and anybody else and then some. My question is, why would the Eagles want to sign him? They have McNabb, Kolb, and Feeley and it would be unprecedented for Reid to have four quarterbacks. They had a media circus 4 years ago and this has the potential to be much worse. My initial assumption is the Kolb injury is more than just a sprained knee but Reid said tonight that he is not just bringing Vick in to ride the bench and McNabb said Vick is not a threat to him or Kolb so I'm not sure if the injury is actually more serious. I'll stick with that assumption for now though. I'm not upset by the signing at all but right now I'm just wondering why? Hopefully Vick can come in and help in some type of Wildcat formation the Eagles are prepared to use this season. Maybe we'll find out more at the press conference tomorrow until then, I'm just really confused. On another note, my girlfriend's mother jokingly stated last week that Vick was going to sign with the Eagles. Now I cannot get her to shut up about that. LOL!
The wildcat is a good guess, Mcnabb + Vick + Westbrook + Jackson + Macklin, it'd be an interesting lineup.
lol, I'm still a Falcons fan though. Man he's coming back to Atlanta Dec. 6th. The Dome will be rocking that day.
Vick is not going to be a "QB" for any team. The guy will most likely be run-pass-catch option for wildcard plays and 3rd down trickerations. Kolb's job is safe.
