Sam being gay doesn't stop him from getting to games. Nice try though.

it doesnt jive with his other statements about how he only wants to be known as Michael Sam the football player. maybe if he did it after he got cut or made the team

It's incredible how badly you missed the point.

    I'm stunned.

I don't care what he said...

If he is judged just on being a football player then he will be forgotten in a year. If i was his agent I would tell him to take full advantage of this opportunity, go on every show, talk at every event and make your money while you can.

I dont think this was his intention when he came out, but now that he realizes this is a money printer, I have no problems with him milking every last penny. If Oprah wants to give him a show take it, If ESPN wants to talk about you all day, let them talk, it is only helping his brand.... which is crazy because if he wasn't gay he wouldn't even have a brand!

Anybody else think the NFL encouraged the Rams to draft him? I mean they had more picks than anyone else, they don't really need D line help and if he wouldn't have been drafted the league would have looked bad.

Ive wondered this since the last day of the draft...what was the Rams incentive to draft this kid? They have a talented defense with depth...The entire thing was scripted for a national audience. ESPN is now mad because Oprah gets to run a miniseries drama on their network and ESPN cant...

How do you manage to piss off teammates before day 1???
