He's going to wind up the next Mo Clarett if he doesn't knock this stuff off.

I never said Crabs wasnt' good. He's a damn good receiver. But like life, there will always be someone else better than you, so atleast show some humbleness and dignity.

Plus, look at last years stats and you can make a case that Dez should have arguably won. He had more TD's, a better net yard per catch, AND he returned two punts for TD.

Todd McShay was already comparing the two last year even though Dez is a year younger (a true sophomore)

You had this same argument last year.

Crab>Dez in everyone's mind but yours.

But he is beginning to act like a diva.

Watch him hold out this season and drop to the 2nd or 3rd round next year.

The only reason Crabs got the award last was because he caught that game winning TD, and the only reason most people don't know about is because Tech was the better team last year and already more hype coming into the year.

Now that Dez is gone, people are already saying Dez is, and was the better receiver.

Bruce Feldman's article a while back:

    http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blo...blog/index?entryID=4324108&name=feldman_bruce

And like I mentioned before, Rod Gilmore on College Football Live said that Dez is going to be "this year's Michael Crabtree AND MORE..."

Here's a random blog post mentioning that Crabs likely won't even be the first WR taken in this year's draft: http://www.mockingthedraft.com/2009/8/6/980311/crabtrees-draft-re-entry-not

And here is Russ Lande's of Sporting News early WR projections for this year's draft: http://www.sportingnews.com/college...-08-06/2010-draft-watch-top-10-wide-receivers

IMO I didn't even think he was the best WR on the team last year. Brandon Pettigrew was much more valuable. I was looking forward to seeing Crabtree vs Bryant last season but the game was over little bit after kickoff. Not sure how did vs OU but know he didn't live up to the hype vs us until the game was already over and vs Texas.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

    ROFL.

    ROFL ZOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow know I know you're just grasping at air now. So you think a tight end was more valuable than our #1 receiver with 87 catches, 1480 yards, and 1 TD's????!!!???!!!!!$&^&^*#(&*(&#*
    $#%$#%$#%#$@%#$@%%$#@%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*&(^*&(^(*&*&

He should've had a TD counted against Texas.
He had 2 TD's vs OU

He had over 100 yards by halftime against Oregon and could have easily had over 200 yards if he hadn't busted his knee.

FYI there was a reason Will Muschamp let Hunter and Toston (our running backs) run free the whole game: Dez Bryant.

He played a nickel defense the majority of the game because he didn't want to risk giving single coverage to Dez. That allowed Pettigrew to get a couple catches too across the middle because he was often matched up one-on-one against the LB's.

    Crabtree:

    231rec, 3,127yds, 41TD

    Bryant:

    130rec, 2,102yds, 25TD

Nobody knows who is going to be a better pro. Either one could become Mike Williams/Charles Rogers or the next Larry Litzgerald. Crabtree would probably be the favorite to be the 1st WR taken, except a year off from football only hurts your draft stock.

Why is nobody talking about the fact that Crabtree had a broken foot that cancelled his workouts and that contributing to his draft slide?

    Lets put into perspective:

    Dez -as a true sophomore:
    87 catches
    1480 yards
    17.0 yards/catch
    19TD
    2 punt returns TD's

    Crabs-as a redshirt Junior
    97 catches
    1165 yards
    12.0 yards/catch
    19TD

Dez was also a top 100 recruit nationally (as was Arrelious Benn, Damian William, and Brandon Lafell). All of these guys have a chance to be picked higher than Crabs.

Probably because it's not all that relevant. Players slipping due to injury happens all the time. That injury concern is part of what goes into your draft position. Does it suck that the injury happened at a bad time? Yes. Bad luck. But why should other people pay for his bad luck?

funny thing is... The Niners will own his rights all the way to draft day..

So, they can prevent him from interviewing with other teams much less work out for them...
