I wouldn't be surprised if Crab took a liking to the nose candy in Lubbock. De'Shon Sanders was probably giving him a nice cut every now and then.

I am a huge Crabtree fan but he is being dumb here. There is no chance he will get paid more money if he holds out this season and re-enters the draft next season. I do believe he will be signed in the end though. As for Jason man get real Bryant will not be half the WR Crabtree will be in the NFL as he was in college. Crabtree stepped up vs quality opponents Bryant was a no show. Crabtree played on a bum ankle after the A&M game.

Off topic...It's now the Scott Van Pelt show. The other guy (can't remember his name) is his sidekick.

Really? Even "half the WR" Crabs will be? Oh the humanity!

Did you read of Bruce Feldmen's article a while back?

He interviewed a Big 12 defender who went up against Crabtree and Dez and said that Dez was "by far" the harder matchup.

Dez had better stats even when everyone in the stadium knew we were going to throw it to him (he accounted for more than 40% of receptions). Our QB, Zac Robinson, literally eye balled him when he was the hot receiver everytime, yet Dez still managed to be a beast.

Plus, in our system, we require our WRs to run more complicated routes relative toTech's system where they just have to run to a "spot," because we actually traditional pro sets occasionally. Dez is already a better route runner, which is a large part of his success. He's physical, explosive off the line, and can sink his hips and make cuts out of his breaks like a smaller WR. Crabtree rarely had to run those type of routes in Tech's system.

Even Rod Gilmore of college football live said that Dez will be "this year's Michael Crabtree and more"

You've proved several times on this board that you know next to nothing about football.

If you have a fantasy team I'd like to see it so I can laugh at you.

Rookie season, Yeah Dez Might be better if Crabtree doesn't sit out.But over their careers, Crabtree will be WAYYYYY better.
Dez is just a bigger, slower version of Devery Henderson, while Crabtree could legit every down 1/2 option in any offensive system in the entire NFL.

I would pick Crabtree over Dez all day, every day and twice on Sunday if i'm looking for a Wideout that will be a important part of an offensive system in the NFL until he retires.

It's OK Moes... those Raiders will go 19-0 for you this year....

And just to clarify things... it's not about Football.. it's the NFL... I watch more College Football than you, I can probably bet that.... I know Football... I just don't follow much of the NFL. This year may be different though.

Dez Bryant will suck because OK state makes me think of Rashaun Woods who was one of the worst 1st round WR busts ever. And Dez makes me think of Dez White from Georgia Tech I think who also sucked.

You don't know football, and you watch more college football than me?

    laughable.

Without looking it up, can you tell me what the penalty for intentional grounding is?

You said you had a Fantasy Team.

Who did you take in the first round?

    What defense did you get?

    Who are your starters?

Ha ha yeah I guess Woods, as great as was in college, made it hard for outsiders to believe in any other OSU WR product huh lol . Hart Lee Dykes was a beast too but he got prematurely injured :D

Well, seriously, there is no doubt that Dez is more gifted physically than Rashaun. Rashaun was not very fast but not physical enough at the same time too. He was a very sharp route runner and out smarted a lot of CB's at the same time.

Lets not forget that Crabtree isn't exactly a speed burner either. He's fluid and quick, with good size but guys like Dez and Benn have ever better size, better hands, better ball skills, and better athleticism.

Dez also returned two punts for TD's too. A lot of people don't know that. If he wasn't astleast fast enough, why we even allow him to return punts? He's faster than Crabtree in that he shows a open field burst to catch the deep ball, and trust me, we threw plenty of them his way. Plus he is hands down the best jump ball receiver in the game:

Don't be surprised to hear more and more people come around and say that Dez is better than Crabs.

    Arrelious Benn is a beast.

I think he's Braylon Edwards without the stone hands.

My sources tell me that the man advising this kid behind the scenes is Jeff Skilling.

If he actually were to sit out the 2009 season and reenter the draft next year, does he honestly expect to make more money with the year off and the attitude he has displayed this year?

Crabtree is the only two time Biletnikoff winner.

    He is good.
