So many offensive weapons... Harden, beasely, Dmo. What if we just play those guys and build a defensive teamaround them. KJ, Capella, Beverly rotation. Eff Dwight!

Man I think some forget how good smith was in Atlanta his last 3 years there.

His last playoff series as a hawk he looked like Lebron james. He's was every were chasing down blocks grabbing rebounds and pushing the ball up court dropping dimes and dunking all over ppl.

Josh smith would have been throught of different I he had played with a guy like harden in his prime. All he would of had to do was get his 3pt shot to 33% and he would have been a bigger more athletic draymond green.

    Smith was awesome in ATL.

Beasley is looking like a keeping imo especailly when you factor in he only makes about 1m next year.

Guys off the bench who can score like him are players you keep and he's done it for 10 games now so I don't think its a fluke. This is his game and it's pretty damn good.

Beasley is a much more efficient scorer. Smith is a better play maker and defender. Both have a reputation of being low IQ. I am guessing the poster was referring to the IQ part, not the skill part. He could also refer to the fact that we got them both on the cheap but we might not keep Beasley like we did not keep Smith.

If he plays like this until the end of next season, he may become too expensive for us to keep. Can kicking, you know... ;)

Michael Beasley's stretch of 9-consecutive games in double figures is longest for Rockets reserve since Carl Landry's 13-gm run in 09-10.

[rQUOTEr]Rockets' Michael Beasley thriving in role off bench

With 21 points on Friday, his second-highest scoring game with the Rockets, forward Michael Beasley has scored in double figures in nine-consecutive games. That is the longest streak for a Rockets player off the bench since Carl Landry scored in double figures in 13-consecutive games early in the 2009-10 season.

"Just staying professional," Beasley said. "We all have to do our part individually. The stronger the bricks, the stronger the wall. I'm just trying to do my part and stay with my game."

Getting the bulk of his time with the Rockets' second unit, the Rockets have put Beasley in position to focus on the strength of his game as a scorer.

He has averaged 16.6 points on 57 percent shooting in his nine games in the Rockets rotation. Among regulars, only DeMarcus Cousins have taken more shots per 36 minutes (Beasley has taken 21.2 shots per 36 minutes) than Beasley.[/rQUOTEr]

With all the bricks we've had this season we must have built the strongest wall in the league by now!

What's the highest scoring average for a guy who averages less than 20 minutes?

I know he hasn't played enough games but just wondering

It's honestly really potent on offense if you had harden handling the ball up top with Durant on one side and beasley on the other. First thing it gives harden a lot of room to get in the paint with less help and secondly if the do collapes you got two guys who can hit the open shot or take it to the hoop and durant can also playmake.

If they could be just top 10 on defense it could be a championship offensive formula depending on who else is around them.

How sad is it that, what you say is the truth, we don't pay for good role players we settle for 2nd tier guys.

    Kick that can...baby!

What a difference a couple games make. Some of you guys were ripping Morey for signing Beasley.

How come there are no videos of Beasley passing though?

Definitely. But I would not think of Harden as his first option.

A very good PG or allstar would do wonders for Josh Smith of Atlanta.

I agree. Someone who can take care of the ball more and is not TO prone and mistake free.

Funny, guys here have cried for Corey when Ronny Brewer was on our bench (yes the guy who could not shoot and score)

When we had Corey, people are crying. Lol I think it is a cycle of evil

We are b****ing and crying no matter of what till the next role player arrives.
