Might have just saved Morey's job.

When Morey couldn't unload Dwight I felt it would leave a bad taste in Dwight's mouth...like a very bad ending to a BJ for the rest of the season

Should just bench Harden and let Beastley start. Dorant and Beastley starting while Harden comes off bench. Get Jeff Teague in offseason as well. Get rid of Brewer and Bev.

C'mon, man. We haven't had a high scoring Power forward in a long time

Maybe since Scola but he was just the third best scorer on the team.

Yup, give him more time. The talent is there.

Another solid outing last night. I just fear that people here will bash him when he scores just single digits in some nights once he cools off a bit seeing how he has built some expectations with this latest stretch of games. But I remain my stance, Beasley could semi-sustain this and still find ways to score if his long shots are off (we all know by now that he likes those long 2's and mid-range J's).........if so, I would like to see him go to the line more in those occasions. He could create his own shot after all and is a born scorer. Again, the effort and D is more important here though moving forward because the offense is always there.

I mean, did you see that play where the Hawks double teamed him and he somehow just scooped it up for an easy 2 inside? There's a reason why he went #2 man. Keep it up Beas. I love it when he's mentally in it.

My issue is he doesn't pass the ball. At some point the other shoe is going to drop and people are going to realize he's a black hole. Players don't like playing with dudes like that in my experience, and Beasley isn't the most stable individual. Just my two.

Seriously? This guy is shooting lights out and people are complaining he is shooting too much on a team that can't seem to hit a jumper????

Could you might possibly think that he is being told to shoot???

I can't believe how critical folks are of Beasley's play..when was the last time we had a forward score 30 points and grab 9 rebounds in a game and make smart plays on both ends of the court? Can someone track this down?

Which is exactly the type of player our 2nd unit needed - a guy that can iOS and score when you need it. When he's with Harden/Howard, he plays off the ball a fair amount.

Great pickup by Morey. Even if DMo/Beas perform at 75% of their current level next year, our 4 spot will have turned from a glaring weakness to a strength. It essentially eliminates 1 hole to fill during FA, which could be key.

Exactly what I think. Beasley and Goldilocks are good pick ups.

You gotta keep him on the bench because no one in the second unit can consistently score. The team needs to stop feeding Dwight. He needs to run at open shooters. Finish the game with Bev-Harden-Beasley-Dmo-Dwight or Bev-Harden-Ariza-Beasley-Dmo.

Beasley can shoot 50 shots a game and I wouldn't care. Why? Because nobody with the exception of Harden can even create their own shots. It's so pathetic watching Harden dribble dribble and then throwing it out for someone to shoot a contested 3 or for a lame DH post up.

On 12/18 shooting and thank God he's a damn good FT shooter. How long since we had a big who could hit a FT?

He's basically LMA or Melo for pennies. Look at LMA last night needed like 25 shots to get 26 points, 13 boards and NO assists. For his career he only averages a couple of assists just like Beas. Neither are known as plus defenders. Both play a similar game of hitting rediculous long twos and occasionally take it inside. Look at his career if given the minutes and the shots he gives you this production.

Someone else said it but you could solve the PF position for pocket change via Beas and Harrell leaving max slots for Durant and Conley.

    We should definitely be excited.

I'd rather him not pass. Hopefully he can keep it up and teams will start treating him like a star in defensive reports to free up harden and Howard some

    Harden/Durant/Beasley > harden/Durant/Howard

very well said, some fans still did not realize what a steal we get from Beasley, his talent is always there. His immature and other personal issues wasted his talent for couple years and he realized it and is doing the right thing now. If he can keep this up on and off court, we got a PF for next few years.

BTW LMA is a little bit stretch at this point. ;)
