    Those are monster numbers.

He's averaging 12.4 points and 5 rebounds in only 16.4 minutes per game. And he's doing it efficiently while shooting 85% from the line.

Nobody has bumped that thread with all the hate comments after signing Beasley? I guess the internet assistant GMs were wrong. maybe?

It's not a BS stat when you use it in context.

It shows you how productive a player is in the minutes he's played.

It's much easier to understand 27 points in 36 minutes than saying he scores 0.75 points per minute.

Per 36 doesn't say anything, because usually more minutes does not mean the same type of production growth. If you just give the numbers he's putting up, that's already great stuff but suggesting he could do that in 36 minutes is ridiculous.

I never said he could do that if he played 36 minutes, and I don't know why you'd be inferring that.

Per 36 is simply an easy way to see how productive someone is in the minutes they've played. That's it.

In the minutes that Beasley has played, he's scoring at the same rate as someone who scores 27 points per game. That's all it means. It doesn't mean he'd average that if he played 36 minutes.

I think he could be 24/10 with 36 min per game with 54% ts which is still Allstar caliber.

He's really good. He was the 2nd pick for a reason I guess the game has slowed down for him and he's also the 1st or 2nd option when he's on the court and him and James have real chemistry.

Don't need stats to see he can ball. Is he going to fulfill his potential? Likely not, but he can be a dynamite 6th man for us...and if he ends his season playing like this I imagine it will help to attract a certain FA...

I'd build around James and Beasely.

Capela starting center. If you can't grab Durant.

    Go after Mike Conley/Hassan Whiteside.

    No to Dwight.
