unless the knicks play any semblance of defense, i don't care who they add, they're not going to even advance to the ECF within the next few years. and it starts with amare and melo. both of them are like allergic to defense god, seeing a team with 2 stars play zero defense is pathetic. they can score easily, and yet can be scored on easier.
I was stunned to hear all these "experts" say NY was going to be a dangerous team. Just look at Miami, it took all of the offseason, training camp and first month of the season to be a good team and even now, they have issues with good teams. Another example was Clyde in 95, he came here and we weren't a good team until the playoffs and we only switched out PF and SG. NY had to switch PG, SG, SF and Center along with trying to mesh two star players. Oh and neither star plays defense, at least Miami's big three plays above average defense.
Lebron and Wade are two of the best Wing Defenders in the league, with Lebron able to guard 4 positions on the court. A lot better then above average defenders.
Very true, Bosh isn't though and as a collective they are only above average. Remove Bosh from the equation and just Lebron/Wade are way above average.
no doubt miami would win the real question is can they pass the second round. right now its boston. that would be a great match up. IMO, the eastern conference this year is more exciting than the west.

but the Knicks are 2-2 against the Heat so does that mean that the Cavs and Pacers are better than the Heat?
