A lot of people hate Bosh on here just because he didn't sign with Houston.

People should stop blaming the Big 3 for the summer being made into some type of spectacle. Blame the media they are the ones who hyped up this summer for the past 3 years and those guys just chose to try to live up to it.

I don't blame the guys for doing whatever they want, and I don't blame Bosh, or Wade....but Lebron, that guy showed a serious lack of class.....

If he just signed without doing that ESPN special, I doubt he gets near the criticism, but that was amazingly poor judgement.

Lebron said he should have handled it differently. At the end of the day, it was for a good cause. Was it a stupid decision in the grand scheme of things? Sure. Classless? Hardly.

True, I don't get Lebron, I mean the guy is the best player in the world, but almost everything he has done in the past 2 years has made him the biggest douche in all of the NBA

True, the Lakers have been doing it for years.

Although for the last few years, the best record belonged to the team with the best player in the league and an awful supporting cast. Some of us were bright enough to recognize this before the season began. Others, like Dakota, goodbug, and YaoZow... not so much.

Here's another funny post from clutchfans..

So far, Miami has beaten only one good team this year. Luckily for them they play in the Eastern conference. If they played in the west, I don't think they would make the playoffs.

the more others hate on lebron, the more i like him.

i rooted against him in cleveland the entire time, now i look forward to his success. i love the way he is embracing the role of villain.

Cleveland won last year by letting Lebron do his thing on offense, and then playing hard nosed defense. When you lose both of your true Centers that guard the paint (one of whom is mismatch at all times) and arguably your best defensive wing player, it will have a major effect on your team. (BTW in my analogy, Yao = Lebron. You didn't mistook that).

Yes, Mo Will and A-Jam are role players on championship contender just like AB would be on a contender, because they are one dimensional and not complete.

I'm not arguing at all that Lebron was a one-man show, that he dominated the ball, or that he carried that team. I'm saying that replacing those other players, who are extremely important to a teams defense (which the Cavs were. A Defense-oriented team!!) is just as much a cause of the Cav's suckitude as Lebron leaving.

While I don't really agree with the way handled things this summer (mainly the whole ESPN special), he is without question the best player in the NBA.

Anyone who denies it is just a blind hater.

Two of the top 5 players and another all star are on the same team so the best record in their conference should be expected. Insert Dirk, DHoward, healthy Yao, Melo, CP3, Duncan, Durant, Deron Williams, or DRose in there for Lebron and you'd probably get the same results. Lebron and the Heat are doing well and that's what they should be doing. They should also win 5 or 6 rings in the next few years with all that talent. All the Kobe/Lebron/Jordan talk is really pointless for the next 5-8 yrs. If Lebron gets his rings with talent then let the discussion begin.

I don't get it. Why do Lebron fanboys care whether Rockets fans underestimate the Heat? And since when do fans NOT overreact to beginning-of-season records?

And I actually thought there was some good debate regarding the Miami team given the length of the thread. Too bad it's just one poster trolling. Disappointing...

No, I think by now even the haters will agree that LeBron's Cavs were easily the worst back to back 60+ win team in NBA history.

Come on DD, you're better than that. Why do you continue to insist that you said they would win 60 games when someone even went and dug up the quote where you said "they probably win 50"?

Because that quote was from a thread when they were struggling, early in the season.....I said they would win 60 before the season starts, and it looks like they figured it out and will.

Honestly, I don't care if they win 40......who cares...????

If you want me to say.... "I was wrong".....fine...I was wrong....and I don't care......it is the Miami Heat....lots of band riding fans are joining them...it is easy to cheer for the Yankees.......not so easy to stay with a team through thick and thin.

I am with the Rockets, win or lose....they may not be the best team in the league but they are the best one in my heart.

Now was that so hard? ;)

I'm with you there. I always have been and always will be a Rockets fan first.

But if we're not knocking the Lakers out this year, I have to put my hopes in some team. For now, that team is Miami.

DD, grow up and stop acting like the kids around here. It's almost halfway through the season. Get over it. I blasted LeBron as much as anyone during the summer about his actions and words, but it's time to act like adults (at least those of us that ARE adults).

No need to explain the TV special vs leaving with class. Everyone got that a long time ago. Pull your head out of last summer back into January and show some maturity. Let's the kids continue to vent like it was yesterday because that's what kids do.
