That's so fuuny. how come nobody but us can get this right. Even chad ford didn't know about the Memphis 09 second rounder. It seems like how like only we know how clever Morey really is. I guess it's best that morey keeps being underrecognized so people will keep making trades with him. Is anybody gonna e-mail this idiot.

Regardless of when he sent it in, anyone who follows the Rockets even a little bit should know that getting bigger and more athletic at the wing position was a priority.

Yeah, I think it was Chad Ford or another of his brethren with a deadline looming and no way to correct it before finally getting some sleep who wrote about how the Rockets got Donte Greene out of the draft after drafting Batum, trading him for Darrell (Arthur?), blah blah blah: "Makes you wonder why Morey didn't just draft Greene straightaway."

Chad Ford might have written outright, "Jeez, the Rockets' draft really boggles my mind." But he had to eat crow last season after our picks turned out well and so might have settled for the "why not just nab Greene straightaway" bit.

For the record: Turning the #25 pick into the player we want PLUS a great backup at the 4/5 PLUS a high second rounder. The 2nd rounder and maybe even Greene can be trade bait; several other teams were looking to draft Greene.

I missed this earlier, my apologies, but Dorsey is 24!!! 25 in December.

Sure he looks like a man amongst boys in college - he was one!!

this dampens my enthusiasm a fair bit on the guy.

Even if we did keep Batum, this guy doesn't even have basic knowledge of the NBA. Shane Battier and Louis Scola play two different positions.

    I know right?!

He's gonna eat crow when Batum and Rafer becomes the best backcourt duo in the league. Count on it!

His age won't hamper him, playing at the NBA level obviously is going to be an entirely different ball game than at college.

Understandable really. Guys like Melvin Ely that come in the league old dont really improve leaps and bounds. Landry's one of the few players that entered the league 24 and up that have high upside

As long as they contribute to the team though. If the Rockets drafted Scola last year instead of getting him in a trade does it really matter?
