found this on deadspin, hilarious: comment read: "To his credit, LeBron is still helping the Cleveland economy."
Their seems to be so much hate and animosity that it wouldnt surprise me if the fans do something that causes the game to be stopped or postponed.
Cleveland Plain Dealer's Bill Livingston was on the Tony Kornheiser show this morning and he sounded like he was going to burst into tears with anger. Man oh man, I can't wait for this game. It's going to be the most venomous crowd since Jack Johnson was fighting.
I think the Heat win but I think you'll see a very removed James. He isn't going to try and destroy the Cavs like let's say Jordan would or even Kobe. He's going to be hurt by the boos and is going to put on a face and act like it doesn't bother him and he's just going to go through the game acting like there is no significance to this game. I predict a 25/8/8 game where he lets the game come to him but I don't see him trying to put the team on his back and take it to Cleveland to get those numbers. He's so self conscious that he is going to be constantly thinking about how he doesn't want to appear to be trying too hard in case he fails - hence the "let the game come to you" approach tonight. ...I think Lebron looks for contact most of the night and tries to do most of his damage from the free throw line. A free throw is a decidedly passive way of scoring from someone who can literally score any way he wants. There are two really interesting in game scenarios I'm anxious to see: a.) If Lebron tries to assert his presence and play physical against his former teammates I imagine they get chippy back and if that turns into any kind of face off or confrontation, that arena is going to go bat **** crazy like nothing you have seen before. If a fight breaks out on the court with anybody, there is a good chance the arena storms the court - it would be truly dangerous. b.) If the game is close in the final minutes, the question all season has been who takes control in the final minutes. In THIS game, what happens if Wade throws Lebron the ball in the final moments to try and close the game out? Does he throw it back? Seems like Lebron's head would explode from that moment.
30 seconds left in the game. The game is tied, but Miami has possession Lebron drives, but Anderson Varejao flops on him. Miami turnover, Cleveland with a chance to win. Mo Williams sinks an elbow jumper buzzer beater. If Cleveland beats Miami with a buzzer beater, and I can expect a type of celebration you only see when teams win championships.
I can't help but think of this every time this game is mentioned: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DQjaPVwmnAM?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DQjaPVwmnAM?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> I hope it doesn't reach this point.
I understand they will be looking out for people wearing profanity shirts towards James but how are they gonna do this? They gonna check every bags and purses? How about people that double layer the t-shirt? These are cloth and can be easily hidden. Also what happen if the crowd chant something like "Delonte F*** your mother!" Everytime he touches the ball? Should they cancel or will they just mute audio? I mean, that would be soo awrkward.
Why is that "w" capitalized? .... Can't wait for this game.... definitely gonna have my popcorn ready.
can't wait for this game, gonna be epic! the malicious tension in the crowd will be great. Not saying a want anything bad to happen... wait I kinda do, but should be interesting none the less.
That's what I was thinking about. My money is on "He'll do it." Further question: Do you think he'll do a pre-game or halftime antic like he did with Cleveland... like PANTOMIMING hitting the ball out of the park and filming it?
