Now Crisco, you know that if you started these threads, then I would be okay with it. Seriously, you bring up good points/arguments, but it is Parcells' personality that makes him a media w****. He always has to say these cute little things or act like an ass and boy does the media eat that **** up! He knows what he is doing when it comes to them. In other words, he knows how to push their buttons. That is what I am talking about and it is sickening to see it. I'd buy the argument that the media is more to blame for it than Tuna, but it takes 2 to do that and BP is hardly an angel when it comes to that stuff. The way he handled the Buccaneers coaching vacancy and the Hall of Fame crap shows that.
Really now?? Okay how about this summary... Welcome to Reality! Dallas stinks. Period. Ya'll are just cryin' 'cause ya' know it's over. Peace, greasechild.
I wont be crying if they don't make the playoffs. I wasn't expecting 8 wins for the season. As long as they play like they did for the first 11 games, I'll be satisfied with whatever outcome. Both Texan teams exceeded my expectations for that matter. The texans oline, dre, and DD have perfomed way above what I thought they would this year. Looks like their O is pretty much set for the future and they just need depth and to replace the older guys on d. Mack is about what I thought he would be though, kinda like THam.
hey, I don't start threads. I can't say too much about the past because I wasn't really watching his interactions with the reporters before, but this year, I don't really see him clamoring for attention from them. He's had his chances, and I was really surprised he didn't lash out at Shockey, but so far he's been rather ho hum imo. He gives interesting answers to questions, but that really doesn't make him more of a media w**** than Yao Ming. I also can't say I exactly knew what went on with the TB thing, but from the outside looking in it did look tacky. JJ on the other hand ... dude may be low key compared to other years(only real beef I had with him so far this year is when he came down to the sidelines and started massaging Larry Allen's leg ) but he is still a prick.
In fairness, you're right... and a good sport. Both teams have over achieved (and reality is probably on the Cowboys side)... they'll be in the playoffs, at a wild card at least. If the Eagles stay revived it will be harder, but that's a bigger "if" than it appears. It would be a far stretch, but pretty cool, to see the Cows in Reliant come very early 2004... I just hope Bud's team is not on the other sideline.
