Senor' Super Size can't walk or get out of bed, yet his place is still more clean than OmegaSupreme's. I mean, what up wit it?
The guy obviously has some medical conditions that cause the abnormal weight problem. Should not be a candidate to make fun of.
I agree, I would think eating plays a role, but I dont think many of us could eat our way to 1200 pounds..
Or maybe he just ate a lot and was lazy? I think that answer is just as valid as him having a medical condition until we know more facts.
Here's some reference material in response to f4p's quote. EDIT: Pics in that thread are gone, but here's the first one:
If it was his thyroid it would make sense, but it's not mentioned. Hypothyroidism has been linked to obesity and respiratory problems. Just because his cholesterol and heart rate is normal, doesn't rule it out. Of course I do not have the title of Dr. swilkins, so what do I know?
Actually, didn't we draft this guy with that pick in the 3rd round. Great potential I believe was the report.
hypothyroidism is not associated with this kind of weight gain. http://www.doctorndtv.com/FAQ/detailfaq.asp?id=5792 you get this fat by being lazy and eating too much. there is no medical condition that causes this other than being addicted to food and not changing yourself. HE IS AN ADDICT. any of you people crying about us making fun of him need to go put on your maxi pads. this guy is a fat pig and he got this way by eating himself this way. he is a completely irresponsible person who let his marriage be destroyed because he couldn't control himself and he can't even accept the fact that his weight gain caused his marriage to end. you don't get that disgusting unless you have others aiding you. it's sad that his friends and family let him get like this and its even more sad that he let himself get this way.
A friend brought this up to my attention that I found interesting. You never see hispanic people begging for money. It's only whites and blacks. I disagreed at first, but then I looked around and found that it's true.
Hypothyroidism directly affects your metabolism. Granted, the guy was 290 at 22. This dude has gained about 1000 pounds. I don't see where he mentions anything about his eating habits. The article just doesn't have that much background on this case. I know people that have thyroid disorders and have gained weight rapidly, until they were put on medication. If you want to be bitter towards obese people, that's your choice. However, you're pulling a link out of a hat with 1 doctor's opinion. Then you go off on the guy when you have no idea what you're talking about makes you sound cold. Lighten up a little.
