Exactly. I eat Mexican or TexMex 3 times a week usually, and on Washington Street there are literally 10-15 places within a 1 mile radius that make these.
You, one of the best I've had was at an establishment in Dallas similar to this one...They of course got it from a small mom and pop shop but it was good...
Ricos on rayford sawdust near lennys sub shop. Their chimmichangas, flautas, burrito , and fajita are all good. Actually everything is good even their chips and salsa.
Agreed, but get it to-go. That is the most poorly designed restaurant I have ever been to. High ceilings, no walls or any kind of accoustical panneling, warehouse-style ceilings, tile floors... when it's busy (which is often) there are also about 645 kids running around. You can't hear a thing, other than the conversations of 150 people echoing all over the place.
Anyone tried Sex Mex in River Oaks? Its new. Right by my place. Its called like Sex Mex or Vida La Sex. Or Sexy Tex Mex. Something like that.
the price make up for it though. 6.99 for chimmichangas and 8.99 for fajita plate with chicken and beef. Can't beat that for lunch with quality taste
We went to Los Cucos the last time we were in town. I really liked it. My wife, being from the northeast and never having had good tex-mex, loved it. My brother apparently didn't like their shrimp. We will probably go back anyways. Is any one Los Cucos better than another? We went to one in Conroe last time. There's one on 249 near Tomball, right? Someone I know suggested Chuy's in The Woodlands. Is that place good?
