Yeah, Doggy is like 4 for his last 30. Hes another good example of the situational hitting. All he knows how to do is pull the ball and drive it. When hes not going well, he ends up popping out alot. Hopefully, hes due to come out of his slump and catch fire again.
I'll make my announcement. I will be attending the game Sunday. I'll be out at the field box, left field side. Section next to the crawford seats.
PHEW!!!!!!!!!! Ducky dodges a bullet and nails down the save. Games like this aren't good for my blood pressure.
Luckily it was the bottom of the order, thus his confidence remained high once he walked the tougher hitters. Had he faced a tougher hitter, I would have been damn nervous... its all about confidence right now for him.... he's got his stuff, he just isn't fully comfortable closing... yet. Astros win... way to right the ship guys, both on the mound, and at the plate.
Yep, it got scary down near the end. Well, No more Astros games for me until after July 24th unless ESPN in the Middle East picks up a game or 2 of the Stros. I am off to "hotter than hell" aka Saudi in the morning. Gonna miss watching our guys tearing apart the rest of the league. Clemens and Pettitte are 11-1!
There's a good way to catch Astros games now if you have a fast internet connection. MLB.com has the all access package or something that lets you watch games over the internet. It's $15 a month or $80 for the season. However, if you sign up for MSN it's included in the service. MSN is only $10 a month and you get 3 months free. So if you sign up now, you could get the whole summer for free and pay $20 for the rest of the season. You don't have to use any of MSN's software or features either. Anyway, I'm not really trying to pitch MSN service which I could care less about, but it's the only way I've been able to see the Stros outside of a random ESPN game or when we play the Braves. It still has blackout restrictions from what I understand, so this would probably only be useful for people outside the houston area that want to catch games.
Ok, off to a good start. Bidge single. Everett sacrafice and Bags drives him in with a single. Lets see if we can knock this newbie out of the game early and get Clemens an easy win. *knock on wood*
Oh oh. Ginter throws a low bridge to Berkman and knocks him to the ground. Hmmmmm.................................
