That's it, I am coming to Houston to take care of this scoring problem.

Well maybe I was coming to Houston anyway. I am hoping to make a game. I would like to get one of those retro lunch boxes. They looked (retro style) swell.

Of course Miller gives a stud performance the start AFTER I drop him from my fantasy team ....

Why would you drop him rather then sticking him on your bench? Either you play in a leauge with few teams (and thus plenty of good starting pitching is available), or you're very frustrated with his inconsistency (which, as a fellow Miller owner, I am as well.... but I play him anyways).

Yes. Of course, Berkman would have had the first if he was running hard out of the box on his triple. He didn't turn on the speed until he was halfway to 2nd.

    hot damn...

I watched the first game against the mets...that sucked.

And i forgot about listening to last nights game because i couldnt watch it on tv. (no cable)

We lose the first game 10-1...and win the second 11-1?

what the hell is going on?!!

Have we played better when Kent is out of the line up? It seems to be true...

In games where Kent has not played at all, the Astros are 13-10. It certainly hasn't been his fault (anymore so than anyone else) when the Astros have lost. Prior to his injury, he had been their most consistent hitter.

Last night they simply feasted on a young pitcher. Even their foul balls were hard hit.

Ok guys, we need to get something started against Trachsel. This guy defines "average journeyman".

    Mets take the lead.

Tony Clark with a homerun to break the tie...

    it was off Lidge.

    *****EDIT:
It is now 5-3 Mets. Lead off triple, followed by a sac fly.
