I confused the handles. Understandable considering history.

    Sorry though.

I have no problem with gays or anything of the sort. I did find it strange at a Mayor Parker talk after she became mayor she continually stressed the lack of not just racial diversity in City Government and the Police and Fire forces.

So basically she's using the city as a sort of affirmative action for gays hiring them in the city.

I just hope their the best people for the job.

If I need the police or firefighters to save me, I hope someone is the most able to do so and not part of something to increase sexual orientation diversity.

For this post, I got rep (guess who from) that said: "Like you could do that. You are really a tough guy when using a keyboard. No wonder no one come to your stupid plays." It was awesome to receive that in the middle of a sold out six week run.

And of course I wasn't threatening to kick his ass personally (I haven't been in a fight since I was 13). I was only saying he needed his ass kicked.

I always laugh when a thread gets posted in the D&D, not because the subject matter is controversial, but rather because of the type of posters who will inevitably participate in the thread.

Again, what are we debating here?

it's always ok to do it at work as long as you don't get caught. but that's too ignorant for him to think that he'll get away with it.

The latest I heard on it was it was his own personal computer, but on the city network. At least that is getting closer to the line of 'well maybe' but no it's dumb to do p*rn at work. And really, I could see what a real productivity killer it could be agency wide in Metro. They have and will continue to bust time wasters.

    *NOT THAT IT REALLY MATTERS*

but who really cares if he used his personalPC to go to whatever site he wanted to over METRO's wi-fi?

Should he reimburse them for the incremental broadband cost and writeh them a check for .000024 cents?

I suppose he can reimburse them for loss productivity... though if there isn't a whole lot going on at work one day I'm not sure we expect him to have devote 100% of that time thinking of ways to improve mass transit (we would hope he does it, but that ain't human nature) and I'm not sure if we all should reimburse our employers for reading clutchfans during work hours.

Of course RocketsPride's issue here is not that Greanias was looking at p*rn, which is what everyone seems to be discussing now; it is that he was looking at gay p*rn.

I thought RocketsPride was more concerned that our gay mayor was forcing her evil gay and probably socialist agenda on him somehow (perhaps by moving the transit downtown center to Montrose)... or that she has somehow mandated that it's now a requirement for city employees or quasi-city employees to view gay p*rn at work against their will.

I think RocketsPride has seen the bigger picture behind the Metro prez's indiscretion and has cast a light upon the secret Gay & Lesbian Mafia that has seized control of the city of Houston's levers of power.

Yes to kpsta and Rashmon, both are true. But I think the more pressing issue is how uncomfortable RocketsPride is made by gay people. Most people who experience that discomfort are having trouble admitting they are gay themselves.

RocketsPride: if you are indeed in this situation, Marc Bachmann runs a great clinic in Minnesota, which should be able to "fix" you. If that doesn't work, I guess you're just gonna have to suffer God's wrath for being who you are.
