I think it would be the same. There'd be the analagous "white Quannel" type people crying foul, but all in all, the same.

quannel x isn't supported by the black community as much as people perceive. case in point, I really didn't even know this case was going on, which is kind of sad, I should keep up more with public events. but black people in Houston aren't rallying around Quannel. People like him (activists) will always have some following. his message is always gonna resonate with some. and sometimes he may actually have an issue that galvanize but generally its probably the same people out there supporting him no matter what the issue is
This is a really dumb statement. Unfortunate the guy died, but he picked the fight for no good reason. The shooter was totally justified. And Quannel X is a publicity-seeking douchebag.
The perception comes from the fact he speaks on behalf of/for the black community. I understand he doesn't literally speak for every black person in Houston. That would be impossible. Whenever the media wants to know how black people feel they run to Quannel. Whenever there is a racial issue, he is always there giving the black point of view. He is seen as a community activist. Are there Quannels of other races? Who are they?
take it up with the media. why should i as a black person have to show you that quannel doesn't speak for me. you should do your research before coming to that conclusion.
quannel x isn't giving the "black point of view". he's defending whom ever he feels is a victim of a particular incident that he feels maybe racially unfair. its a case by case basis.
wow i thought you cant use a gun in self defense unless the "attacker" had a weapon of the same devastation or even more..ie you cant shoot someone when they try to punch you...
There's nothing to support that other than your opinion. I'll disagree. I don't see what O.J. has to do with it. I don't know if that's the rule or not, but if it is it's a stupid one, and not held in much respect, as evidenced by the outcome here. Having seen things like the pizza parlor video where the guy got his ass whooped for basically doing nothing, I, too, would be likely to shoot somebody regardless if they had a weapon or not...if a fight may break out, and as a result, I may end up seriously injured and in the hospital, why shouldn't I be able to defend myself with a gun? Doesn't mean I have to kill somebody, but when you're in a bus, it's not like you can try and aim for a guy's leg or something...what if you accidentally hit RM95's poker friend? The biggest concern here, imo, is not that he shot, and happened to kill his attacker, but that it was done in public where innocent people could have been hurt.
All I know. . . is next time I'm on the bus . .. I'm keeping my Gat close Rocket River Can't be walking around Texas without my GAT!!
