Yeah, I've heard that he does not like to go out at all. I'm not going to buy it until somebody else can point to independant corroboration. Or produce a napkin with some DNA on it.

I swear I couldn't believe my eyes either. I was shocked when my friend said Yao is here and I didn't believe her at all because I always read stuff like Yao likes to stay in and be a homebody and player computer games. Then I walked over to the other side and there he was all 7'6 of him sippin on a yellow foamy cocktail. He was sitting in the booth a majority of time surrounded by a plethora of girls. lol that's kind of funny I didn't think of it like that. I think he iso'ed himself though literally. He chose to go to his own little spot kind of a distance away from all the other players and chilled by himself and observed and waited for girls to come talk to him. The only reason why I asked that was because then he would probably realize I'm a rockets fan and or that I follow the Rockets. Maybe a stupid question to ask maybe no but that's what he replied. I really wish I could've interacted with Yao or Tmac but didn't happen. I still can't believe I ran into all these guys last night and I know someone is out there that can confirm this!
I can't believe that some of you guys are doggin' this guy for writing about his account at a bar. Hopefully it's just some weak sarcasm. Isn't that what Clutchfans is partly about? I, for one, appreciate when I poster writes about his or her experience with a players outside of the arena. I've been here awhile, so I know all about the "no picture, no proof" rule, but give the guy a break. It's not like he posted a story saying John Amechi was in the VIP lounge with Luther Head....sorry I had to. But I'm glad the guys were out celebrating together. Cod
That actually kinda corroborates your story...that Yao would be drinking some girly drink with an umbrella and piece of pineapple stuck in it. Yao probably doesn't get out much and ended up ordering some fruity cocktail cuz he doesn't know much about alcohol .
