Because Vince beat Leinart in the championship game head-to-head, Leinart never beat Vince in his 2 championship runs, so I assume that's why he was PO'd about it. Btw, it was a gorgeous ring. I dunno who decided about the pen on paper being famous thing is worth anything - but I was never into for the $, just for the personal memento idea. Vince being the face of the franchise would be great, don't get me wrong, b/c I like him a lot - but I still think Bush is the correct pick for us.

Don't you mean ONE championship ring? I distinctly remember LSU winning the BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME which is the OFFICIAL championship game which is recognized by the NCAA not just various media outlets.
Not that I really care about USC but weren't they co-champions? Or was that just self-proclaimed/poll results. In that scenario, would USC have gotten a ring? I know they got their SI tribute cover or dvd or whatever.
